Join in a new choir
The Sing Thing is a community choir for children at Idle C of E Primary School. It's fun and interactive. You'll get the chance to sing some cool songs and perform for your friends and family.
Sessions will be held from 3.30pm to 4.30pm on Tuesdays at Idle Primary School
We ask for students to sign up for full term as we will be working towards a performance. Sessions cost £4.50 per student and are payble either in full for the term or in two instalments each half term.
Who we are
My name is Steve
I'm a professional musician who works in the wedding industry as a singer and guitarist. As well as that I have a huge amount of experience working with children and young people, having started my career as a youth arts worker before moving on to teaching performing arts in the private school sector.
I love music and I love working with children. Alongside me is my wife Laura who has also spent many years in the creative arts and working with children as a playworker, teacher and support assistant.

MUSIC FOR EVERYONE
You don't have to have any experience to join The Sing Thing. We aim to make singing for EVERYONE! You don't even need to be able to sing! Just come and have fun singing songs from classical musicals right to modern day pop. You'll never be asked to sing a solo but you may be offered one if you feel confident enough to.
